As it is World Mental Health Day, Sid Smart wants to talk about BACE. Sid believes in balance in his life. When he keeps everything in balance he feels good. He uses BACE to keep things in check:
Body – exercise, eat well and sleep properly.
Achievement – accomplish things (small or large).
Community – socialise and connect with people.
Enjoyment – sometimes do things just for fun!
Sid finds that if one of these four things starts to take over he feels bad. Similarly, if he is missing one of these elements he starts to feel bad. Sid believes that life is about balance as you can even have too much of a good thing…
